Description

Bob Martin Joint & Skin Care daily supplement is formulated to support healthy joints, mobility, skin and coat condition in dogs, helping keep them comfortable, active and looking their best.

It’s suited to dogs showing early signs of joint stiffness, such as slowing down on walks or struggling to get up after resting, as well as larger breeds, working dogs and highly active dogs who put more strain on their joints day to day. It’s also a good option for dogs with dry, flaky skin or a dull coat, since joint and skin issues can often be linked to the same underlying factors, such as ageing. Read more about why joint supplements matter for dogs as they age.

This tasty, chewable supplement combines glucosamine, chondroitin, green lipped mussel and eggshell membrane to support healthy cartilage and joint function. Alongside salmon oil and added vitamins to nourish the skin and maintain a soft, glossy coat. Many owners choose to start a joint supplement from around 5 to 7 years of age, or earlier for larger breeds and very active dogs, to help support healthy mobility before stiffness sets in. Feed daily according to your dog’s weight, following the feeding guidelines on pack, either as a treat by hand or mixed into your dog’s food, as part of their regular routine. Suitable for dogs from 3 months of age. Not suitable for dogs that are pregnant or lactating.

FAQs

Joint stiffness can affect dogs of all ages, particularly larger breeds, highly active dogs and senior pets. Early signs to look out for include:

  • Slowing down on walks or tiring more easily.
  • Hesitating before climbing stairs or jumping into the car.
  • Stiffness after resting or sleeping.
  • Reluctance to run, play or exercise.
  • Difficulty standing up after lying down.

Supporting your dog’s joints with a daily supplement can help maintain healthy mobility and keep them active for longer. However, it’s always best to seek advice from your vet if you notice any persistent issues.

Many owners choose to start giving their dog joint supplements from around 5 to 7 years of age, or earlier for larger breeds, working dogs and very active dogs. Supporting joint health before signs of stiffness appear can help maintain healthy cartilage and mobility over time.

If you’re unsure when to start a joint supplement, your vet can advise based on your dog’s age, breed, activity level and individual needs.

Eggshell membrane is the thin layer found inside an eggshell. It naturally contains collagen, glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid, which are all important components of healthy joints and cartilage. Including eggshell membrane in a daily supplement helps provide nutritional support for healthy mobility and joint function in dogs.

Yes, your dog’s dry skin and stiff joints can absolutely be connected. While stiff joints and dry skin don’t always have the same cause, they can both be influenced by factors such as ageing, activity levels and nutrition.

A balanced diet is essential, but some dogs can benefit from additional nutritional support. Ingredients such as glucosamine, chondroitin, eggshell membrane, collagen and green-lipped mussel help support healthy joints and mobility, while salmon oil helps maintain healthy skin and a glossy coat. A supplement that supports both areas can be a convenient way to help keep your dog feeling and looking their best.

If your dog’s symptoms appear suddenly, are severe or are causing them discomfort, it’s always best to speak to your vet.

Several vitamins and nutrients play an important role in maintaining healthy skin and a glossy coat. Vitamins such as Vitamin E help protect skin cells from oxidative stress, while B vitamins, including biotin, support healthy skin and normal hair growth. Essential Omega-3 fatty acids, such as those found in salmon oil, also help nourish the skin and support a soft, shiny coat.

A balanced diet should provide the nutrients your dog needs, but some dogs may benefit from additional nutritional support. A supplement containing salmon oil and added vitamins can help maintain healthy skin and coat condition as part of a balanced diet.
