Description
Bob Martin Senior & Healthy Ageing daily supplement is formulated specifically for senior dogs, designed to support the areas that matter most as dogs get older, including brain function, joint comfort, mobility, immune health and digestion.
It’s suited to dogs entering their senior years, typically from around age 7 (a little earlier for giant breeds). This includes dogs showing everyday signs of ageing, such as being slower to get up, less enthusiastic on walks, or a bit less alert. It’s also a sensible addition for owners who want to get ahead of age-related changes before they become noticeable.
Rather than targeting one issue in isolation, this formula combines joint-support, brain-support, gut-support and immune-support ingredients in one daily soft chew. Instead of juggling separate products for mobility, memory and digestion, you’re covering all three with one simple addition to your dog’s routine. Feed daily according to your dog’s weight, following the feeding guidelines on pack, either as a treat by hand or mixed into food. It’s highly palatable, making it easy to give even to fussier senior eaters. Not suitable for dogs that are pregnant or lactating.

FAQs
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a naturally occurring fatty acid compound that is produced by the body and found in small amounts in certain foods. It is included in senior dog supplements to help support your dog’s comfort and overall wellbeing as they age.
As dogs get older, their joints and tissues naturally experience everyday wear and tear. PEA works alongside ingredients such as turmeric to provide nutritional support for healthy ageing, helping senior dogs stay comfortable and active as part of a balanced diet.
Yes. As dogs get older, it’s natural for them to become a little slower or less energetic, even if they’re otherwise healthy. While ageing can’t be prevented, you can help support your dog’s wellbeing through a balanced diet, regular exercise that’s appropriate for their age, routine veterinary check-ups and targeted nutritional support.
Our senior supplement has been specially formulated to support multiple aspects of healthy ageing. Ingredients including turmeric and palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) help support everyday comfort and mobility, Ginkgo biloba helps support cognitive health, bilberry extract supports healthy vision, while beta-glucans and postbiotics help maintain immune and digestive health. Together, they help your dog stay active, alert and enjoy their senior years.
Ginkgo biloba is a natural botanical extract that is included in senior dog supplements to help support healthy brain function and cognitive wellbeing. It contains naturally occurring antioxidants and plant compounds that help protect cells from oxidative stress, while also supporting healthy blood circulation, including to the brain.
As dogs get older, it’s normal for changes to occur in their cognitive function. Some senior dogs may become less alert, appear more forgetful or find it harder to adapt to changes in their routine. While these changes are a natural part of ageing, good nutrition can help support healthy brain function throughout your dog’s senior years.
As dogs get older, it’s not unusual for them to become more selective about what they eat. Changes in their sense of smell or taste, dental health and appetite can all affect how willing they are to try something new.
Our soft chew supplements are designed to be highly palatable, making them easy for most senior dogs to enjoy as part of their daily routine. They can be fed as a tasty treat or offered with your dog’s regular food, making it easier to provide daily nutritional support for healthy ageing.
Prebiotics and postbiotics both support your dog’s gut health, but they work in different ways. Prebiotics are specialised fibres that nourish the beneficial bacteria already living in your dog’s digestive system, helping them thrive. Postbiotics are beneficial compounds produced by these bacteria during fermentation that help maintain a healthy gut environment and digestive balance.
As dogs age, changes to the gut microbiome can affect digestion and overall wellbeing. That’s why our Senior + Healthy Ageing Supplement contains postbiotics to help support digestive health as part of a balanced diet. A healthy gut also plays an important role in supporting your dog’s overall wellbeing throughout their senior years.
