Description

Bob Martin Clear Spot-On Solution is an easy-to-use topical flea and tick treatment applied directly to your dog’s skin. It works quickly to kill adult fleas and ticks, helping to control active infestations and reduce irritation.

Designed for medium dogs, this topical solution spreads through the natural oils of the skin to target parasites on contact, providing reliable, targeted protection.

Clear Spot-On is focused on treating visible parasites, each treatment:

  • Kills fleas for up to 8 weeks
  • Kills ticks for up to 4 weeks, helping reduce the risk of tick-borne diseases

Suitable for medium dogs over 8 weeks old, weighing between 10–20kg. 1 pipette provides a single treatment for ongoing protection.

For best results, use as part of a regular flea treatment programme, with applications every 4 weeks to maintain consistent protection. Regular use helps reduce the risk of reinfestation and keeps your dog protected

For external use only.

How to Use

For external use only – Apply to an area where the animal cannot lick it off and do not allow pets to lick each other after treatment.

Check that your dog is at least 2 months old and/or weighing more than 10kg. It is best practice to weigh your dog before using the Spot-On product. 1 pipette per dog weighing over 10kg and up to 20kgs.

Directions for use:

Read the instructions in the pack and double check that you have the right dose for your dog and their size
Bob Martin Clear Spot-On must be applied at 2 points – at the base of the back of the dog’s head and between the shoulder blades. If the dog is wearing a collar, remove it first so that it does not restrict application and don’t put the collar back on whilst the treatment is on the skin
Remove a single pipette from the pack. Hold the pipette upright and snap off the top section of the cap opening the pipette
Part your dog’s coat until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly against the skin and squeeze gently. Apply approximately half of the pipette at one point and half at the second point. Avoid applying onto the fur and do not rub into the skin as this will reduce the product’s performance

Frequency

To be used at monthly intervals as part of an effective and regular flea control program. The minimum interval between treatments is 4 weeks.

IS BOB MARTIN CLEAR SPOT-ON ALL I NEED?

Regular treatment of all cats and dogs in the home together with regular vacuuming of your pet’s bedding and resting areas is needed to protect your pet and home from fleas.

FAQs

Bob Martin CLEAR is highly effective at killing fleas and ticks, helping to quickly control active infestations and prevent reinfestation on your pet.

Bob Martin CLEAR PLUS provides the same fast-acting protection against fleas and ticks, but with added dual-action benefits. It also inhibits the development of flea eggs and larvae both on your pet and in the home environment.

This means that while both products kill fleas and ticks and help prevent reinfestation, CLEAR PLUS goes further by breaking the flea life cycle, making it a more effective choice for long-term control and households dealing with recurring flea problems.

No, Bob Martin Spot-On treatments should never be added to your dog’s food.

Spot-on products are designed for external use only and must be applied directly to your dog’s skin, usually at the back of the neck where they cannot lick it off. These treatments work by spreading through the natural oils of the skin and coat to kill parasites. They are not safe or effective if ingested, and adding them to food could be harmful.

Yes, Bob Martin CLEAR Spot-On can be used on lactating dogs. It is suitable for use during both pregnancy and nursing to help protect against fleas and ticks.

However, it’s always best to consult your vet before use, especially if your dog or her puppies have any health concerns.

Yes, treating your home is an important part of effective flea control. Only a small percentage of fleas live on your pet, most are found in the home as eggs, larvae and pupae in areas like carpets, bedding and furniture.

Using a home treatment such as Bob Martin Home Spray alongside your pet’s flea treatment helps break the flea life cycle. For best results, treat both your pet and your home at the same time, and vacuum thoroughly before applying any home spray.
