Description

Bob Martin Joint & Mobility daily supplement is formulated to support healthy joints, everyday movement and long-term mobility in cats. It helps keep them comfortable and active at every life stage.

It’s suited to cats showing subtle signs of joint stiffness, such as hesitating before jumping onto furniture or becoming less flexible when grooming. Cats are naturally good at hiding discomfort, so these changes aren’t always obvious and can be easy to miss. Joint health is influenced by a range of factors, including age, weight and breed, rather than simply whether a cat lives indoors or outdoors. It’s a sensible option for cats over the age of 7, heavier or less active cats, and breeds more prone to joint issues. It’s also a good choice for cats reluctant to take tablets, since the lickable format is easy and enjoyable to feed.

This supplement provides chondroitin, green-lipped mussel and salmon oil in a tasty, grain-free lickable sachet, gentle on sensitive stomachs. Together they help support healthy cartilage, joint flexibility and everyday comfort, while salmon oil also helps support healthy skin and a glossy coat. Feed daily according to your cat’s weight, following the feeding guidelines on pack, either straight from the pouch, in a bowl, or as a food topper. It can also be used to help disguise the taste of medication. Suitable for cats from 3 months of age.

FAQs

Because cats are natural predators, they are hardwired to hide physical vulnerability and discomfort. Instead of obvious limping, joint stiffness in cats usually manifests as subtle behavior changes. Look out for:

  • Hesitating or “measuring” the distance before jumping onto a sofa or counter.
  • Using intermediate steps to get down from high surfaces rather than leaping straight to the floor.
  • A scruffy or matted coat along their lower back, caused by decreased flexibility for grooming.
  • Withdrawing from interaction or showing uncharacteristic irritability when handled.

If your cat is over the age of seven, starting a preventative, nutrient-dense daily supplement can significantly help protect cartilage before mobility declines.

Green-lipped mussel (GLM) is a powerful, sustainably sourced marine ingredient from New Zealand that acts as an all-in-one joint protector. Unlike standard industrial ingredients, green-lipped mussel naturally contains a rich matrix of:

  • Omega-3 Fatty Acids (including rare ETA): These unique lipids soothe joint tissues and support the body’s natural anti-inflammatory pathways.
  • Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs): Crucial structural building blocks that maintain strong, shock-absorbing joint structures.

When combined with pure Glucosamine and Chondroitin, it creates a synergistic effect—the glucosamine repairs vital cartilage cells, the chondroitin prevents premature cartilage breakdown, and the green-lipped mussel targets friction, allowing for fluid, comfortable jumping.

Forcing pills, capsules, or bitter powders into a cat’s mouth causes immense stress for both you and your pet. The most effective method is utilising a highly palatable, lickable pouch formula. Designed with a smooth texture, a premium lickable joint sachet turns supplement time into a positive bonding experience. The rich, savory aroma completely masks the active marine ingredients. You can feed it directly from the sachet, let them lick it off your finger, or use it as a highly enticing food topper over their daily meal to guarantee full absorption without the struggle.

Omega-3 fatty acids are fundamental for managing the structural wear-and-tear that occurs in aging feline joints. Over time, friction inside the joint capsule causes cellular irritation and stiffness.

The specialised Omega-3s found in high-quality marine sources work at a cellular level to lubricate the joint space and block the enzymes responsible for breaking down healthy cartilage. Because a cat’s body cannot produce these essential fatty acids efficiently on its own, a daily bioavailable dose keeps their connective tissues elastic, reduces stiff morning steps, and supports overall cardiovascular and skin health.

Because natural joint nutrients work by gradually building up structural reserves in the cartilage and thickening the lubricating joint fluid, results are cumulative rather than overnight.

Most cat owners begin to notice subtle improvements (such as a more fluid gait, a return to favorite high sleeping spots, or newfound playful energy) within 2 to 4 weeks of consistent daily feeding. For optimal long-term mobility, it is crucial to continue the daily pouch routine even after your cat’s mobility improves, ensuring their joints remain continuously protected against ongoing wear and tear.
