Description

Bob Martin Clear Plus Spot-On Solution is a fast-acting, easy-to-use flea and tick treatment that kills parasites quickly and prevents reinfestation for up to 8 weeks.

Designed for medium dogs, this topical solution works directly through the skin to eliminate fleas, ticks, flea eggs and biting lice, while also stopping the flea life cycle in your home.

Clear Plus doesn’t just treat visible fleas, it tackles the root of the problem:

  • Stops flea eggs, larvae and pupae developing for up to 8 weeks
  • Helps prevent reinfestation in your dog’s bedding, carpets and home environment

Ideal for households dealing with ongoing or recurring flea problems.

Suitable for medium dogs only over 8 weeks old, weighing between 10–20kg, this pack contains 1 pipette, providing a single treatment that protects against fleas while continuing to control the flea life cycle for up to 8 weeks. It can also be used during pregnancy and lactation.

For best results, Bob Martin Clear Plus should be used as part of a regular flea treatment programme, with applications every 4 weeks to maintain continuous protection against fleas and ticks. Consistent use helps minimise the risk of reinfestation and ensures effective long-term control.

For external use only.

How to Use

For external use only – Apply to an area where the animal cannot lick it off and do not allow pets to lick each other after treatment.

Weigh the dog first and ensure the correct product is used based on weight of the dog, detailed on the front of the pack.

Directions for use:

Read the instructions in the pack and double check that you have the right dose for your dog and their size
Bob Martin Clear Plus Spot-On must be applied at 2 points – at the base of the back of the dog’s head and between the shoulder blades. If the dog is wearing a collar, remove it first so that it does not restrict application and don’t put the collar back on whilst the treatment is on the skin
Remove a single pipette from the pack. Hold the pipette upright and snap off the top section of the cap opening the pipette
Part your dog’s coat until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly against the skin and squeeze gently. Apply approximately half of the pipette at one point and half at the second point. Avoid applying onto the fur and do not rub into the skin as this will reduce the product’s performance

To be used at monthly intervals as part of an effective and regular flea control program. The minimum interval between treatments is 4 weeks.

Active Ingredients

Each pipette contains 134mg Fipronil and 120.6mg (S)-methoprene.

Fipronil  – a proven insecticide that works by disrupting the nervous system of fleas and ticks, leading to rapid elimination of parasites. It kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours of contact, helping to quickly reduce irritation and protect your dog from ongoing infestation.

(S)-methoprene  – an insect growth regulator that inhibits the development of flea eggs, larvae and pupae for up to 8 weeks after application. By stopping immature fleas from maturing, it helps break the flea life cycle and prevents reinfestation in your dog’s home environment, including bedding and soft furnishings.

FAQs

As Bob Martin Clear Spot On is a topical treatment, frequent shampooing or bathing may reduce its efficiency. If a bath is essential then you should wait at least 48 hours.

Yes, it’s important to choose the correct variant based on your dog’s weight, not just their size or breed. Each product is specifically dosed for a weight range, so using the right one ensures the treatment is both safe and effective. If you’re unsure of your dog’s weight, your vet can offer free weight checks.

It’s also important not to adjust the dose yourself. If you’ve bought the wrong product for your dog’s weight, you should not try to modify or split the dose, instead use the correct product for your dog’s weight range.

Bob Martin CLEAR is highly effective at killing fleas and ticks, helping to quickly control active infestations and prevent reinfestation on your pet.

Bob Martin CLEAR PLUS provides the same fast-acting protection against fleas and ticks, but with added dual-action benefits. It also inhibits the development of flea eggs and larvae both on your pet and in the home environment.

This means that while both products kill fleas and ticks and help prevent reinfestation, CLEAR PLUS goes further by breaking the flea life cycle, making it a more effective choice for long-term control and households dealing with recurring flea problems.

Apply directly to your dog’s skin at 2 points: the back of the neck and between the shoulder blades. Make sure to remove your dog’s collar before application.

For best results, avoid applying to the fur or rubbing it in, as this can reduce effectiveness. Leave the collar off until the treatment has fully dried.
