Description
Bob Martin Clear Plus Spot-On Solution is a fast-acting, easy-to-use flea and tick treatment that kills parasites quickly and prevents reinfestation for up to 8 weeks.
Designed for large dogs, this topical solution works directly through the skin to eliminate fleas, ticks, flea eggs and biting lice, while also stopping the flea life cycle in your home.
Clear Plus doesn’t just treat visible fleas, it tackles the root of the problem:
- Stops flea eggs, larvae and pupae developing for up to 8 weeks
- Helps prevent reinfestation in your dog’s bedding, carpets and home environment
Ideal for households dealing with ongoing or recurring flea problems.
Suitable for large dogs over 8 weeks old, weighing between 20–40kg, this pack contains 3 pipettes, providing three treatments. Each application protects against fleas while continuing to control the flea life cycle for up to 8 weeks, offering extended protection when used as part of a regular routine. It can also be used during pregnancy and lactation.
For best results, Bob Martin Clear Plus should be used as part of a regular flea treatment programme, with applications every 4 weeks to maintain continuous protection against fleas and ticks. Consistent use helps minimise the risk of reinfestation and ensures effective long-term control.
For external use only.
How to Use
For external use only – Apply to an area where the animal cannot lick it off and do not allow pets to lick each other after treatment.
Weigh the dog first and ensure the correct product is used based on weight of the dog, detailed on the front of the pack.
Directions for use:
Read the instructions in the pack and double check that you have the right dose for your dog and their size
Bob Martin Clear Plus Spot-On must be applied at 2 points – at the base of the back of the dog’s head and between the shoulder blades. If the dog is wearing a collar, remove it first so that it does not restrict application and don’t put the collar back on whilst the treatment is on the skin
Remove a single pipette from the pack. Hold the pipette upright and snap off the top section of the cap opening the pipette
Part your dog’s coat until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly against the skin and squeeze gently. Apply approximately half of the pipette at one point and half at the second point. Avoid applying onto the fur and do not rub into the skin as this will reduce the product’s performance
Frequency
To be used at monthly intervals as part of an effective and regular flea control program. The minimum interval between treatments is 4 weeks.
Active Ingredients
Bob Martin Clear Plus 268 mg/ 241.2 mg Spot-On Solution for Large Dogs.
Fipronil – a proven insecticide that works by disrupting the nervous system of fleas and ticks, leading to rapid elimination of parasites. It kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours of contact, helping to quickly reduce irritation and protect your dog from ongoing infestation.
(S)-methoprene – an insect growth regulator that inhibits the development of flea eggs, larvae and pupae for up to 8 weeks after application. By stopping immature fleas from maturing, it helps break the flea life cycle and prevents reinfestation in your dog’s home environment, including bedding and soft furnishings.

FAQs
Yes, one pipette is one full treatment for one dog within the 20–40kg weight range. Each pipette contains a dose that has been carefully calibrated for dogs in this weight category to ensure safe and effective flea and tick control.
If you have more than one dog, each will need their own correctly sized dose. Pipettes should not be shared or adjusted.
It’s best to wait until the application area is fully dry before allowing your dog onto your bed or furniture. This helps ensure the treatment has absorbed properly and reduces the chance of it transferring onto fabrics or skin.
You should avoid allowing children to touch your dog, especially the application area, until it is completely dry. Once dry, normal contact can resume. This helps minimise any risk of accidental transfer.
Yes, this is strongly recommended. Fleas can move between animals, so treating all pets at the same time helps prevent reinfestation and improve overall effectiveness.
After applying treatment, it’s important to keep pets separated until the application area is fully dry to prevent them from grooming each other or transferring the product.
