Does it matter if my dog gets wet after applying Bob Martin Spot On for Dogs?
Yes – the Spot On is topical and therefore stays on the dogs skin. Any significant amount of water, be it a bath or when swimming, will dilute the solution and therefore affect the efficacy of the product.
| I applied Spot On a week ago but my dog still has some fleas, what can I do?
You can re-treat your dog with Spot On after 7 days if the burden has reduced but not disappeared. You should also ensure that a good household insecticidal product is used around the house to compliment the effectiveness of the spot on.
| I have sprayed the dogs bed with Insecticidal spray will this do to get rid of the fleas?
Not on its own, you do need to treat the whole house, not just the area in which your dog is allowed. Fleas can be found anywhere in the house as they only stay approximately 10% of their lifespan on the animal.
| Why do I need to worm my dog if he is not showing any signs of having them?
Dogs do not always show outward signs of having a worm burden and therefore it is recommended that you treat them every 3 months as a precaution. Dogs can get worms at any time within the 3 month period, and this is not a preventative measure against worms but a treatment for.
